Garbage & Recycling
Pickup schedules, yard waste, recycling, and bulk items.
Curbside garbage, recycling, and seasonal yard waste collection is provided through the Village's contracted hauler. Service is billed on your bi-monthly Village utility bill.
Collection schedule
Collection is weekly on your assigned pickup day. When a Village-observed holiday falls on or before your collection day, pickup is delayed by one day. Carts should be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM.
Recycling
Single-stream recycling is collected weekly. Accepted items include paper, cardboard, plastics #1–#5 and #7, metal cans, and glass. Plastic bags and film should be returned to a grocery store drop-off.
Yard waste
Yard waste collection runs April through November. Yard waste must be in compostable kraft paper bags or in a clearly marked yard waste cart.
Bulk items
Bulk items — furniture, mattresses, appliances — are picked up by appointment. See the Bulk Item Pickup Guide for instructions and accepted items.
