Board of Trustees
The Village President and six Trustees who set policy for the Village of Gilberts.
The Village Board consists of an elected Village President and six Trustees, each serving four-year staggered terms. The Board meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 PM at Village Hall.
Village President
The Village President presides over Board meetings, signs ordinances, appoints committee members with Board consent, and represents Gilberts at regional and intergovernmental functions.
Board of Trustees
Six elected Trustees serve as the legislative body of the Village. Each Trustee is assigned to liaison roles with one or more Village departments, commissions, or committees.

Board meetings
Regular Village Board meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 PM in the Village Board Room. Meetings are open to the public; public comment is taken at the start of each meeting.
